My son is 7 and never an IPad in bed. He picks the boo and we read it for 10-15 minutes and then it's lights out.

Yes, this. I do not let my kids do this nor do they have access to their iPads all the time. To each their own, I guess, but I think this is teaching terrible habits.

Not true. I don’t see my sister often, and I don’t have/know other kids this age to compare to. Yes, my first reaction was to judge. But then I thought maybe kids are doing this at this age, and I should prepare because it’s just down the road for us!
