Teachers obliged to wear masks. Students not required?

One hearing impaired child in the class and that will go away.


They have specially designed masks that are used by SLPs and speech therapists, as well as face shields and microphones to make it easier for people with hearing impairments. If the county is serious about providing PPE (and they should be), this ought to be part of the consideration.

Keyword SHOULD be. The sad truth? They won’t? $16 million budget cuts in LCPS alone.

You paying for that PPE? didn’t think so.

Parents, make plans for fall. Y’all excited and everything (I get it) about kids going back to class.

But, when DL becomes mandatory again around/after Thanksgiving you’ll regret not planning ahead.
