Nope and haven’t heard of anyone else. I wonder if they just paused the whole program while waiting to figure out the fall a bit more.

Have there been any updates about the waitlist? Has anyone been moved off of the waitlist?

I just asked the same question on a neighborhood listserv and heard nothing.

I contacted them. Early there was movement but now I think some classes are now full, unless people decide to drop after all

A couple of weeks ago they had offered spots up to #19 on the waitlist for Maryvale.

A week or two ago they invited up to #3 on Page's wait list.

Anyone?

It's test in, so a much, much lower pool of interest. The students have to have a decent amount of language proficiency to get in. I used to teach at a school that ended up having several students leave for immersion midway through elementary, and they were generally international students whose families weren't planning to stay in the US.

How much lower, PP? Do they pretty much clear the wait lists for upper grades or is it not something you can count on? We're coming from DC and aren't worried about the test, but would like the flexibility of not having to move to one of the bilingual school zones.

Was this just for kindergarten, or for first grade too?

Bumping this up--does anyone have any info on Sligo Creek French immersion?

Does anyone know what the required standards are for passing the test for the older grades? Does the child just need to be at grade level in the target language?
