OP here. He's just stubborn and wants to do what he wants to do. His parents are the same way. They're still trying to "downplay" it saying that FIL doesn't have any symptoms. Symptoms or not, you're still a carrier! They just march to the beat of their own drum. It's very frustrating.

It is people like him that we still have high positives for Covid19 in our area. He’s spreading it with no remorse or regard for public health safety. What a useless human being! He’s not even human at this point.

When my DC was just born, my FIL had an active case of shingles. His doctor told him to postpone their visit. FIL and MIL chose not to tell us and said it was "cured". FIL kept scratching himself and the truth came out. Who knows who they exposed on their flight. I feel your rage OP. Fortunately DC was ok.
