Crash Landing - Netflix Korean subtitles

I have watched Crash Landing twice, such a great show! I loved everything about it, including the soundtrack.

I just started Something In The Rain, which also stars Son Ye-Jin, on Netflix. So far it's pretty good, I've only watched the first episode. I enjoy seeing which K-dramas others are recommending.

The goblin is really about 939 years old, so anyone they pair him up with will be a big age gap.

I'm also watching The King: Eternal Monarch now and as a side note, the main lead is also the same actress that plays the lead in Guardian. It's also written by the same writer. I think it's pretty good so far but I thought Guardian was much better.

Has any watched It's Okay Not to Be Okay anymore? It looks pretty good but I haven't watched it yet.

I loved It's Okay Not to Be Okay, but it gets heavy/dark/melodramatic in some parts. Still loved it so much.

Just finished “crash landing on you.” My first Korean drama. Apparently it was co-written by a defector. The village scenes are just too beautiful. I stopped it at episode 11 and had to go back and had to re-watch the episodes in the village as they are just too beautiful with the right amount of comedy. And imagine my good luck that the day I finished this drama the two leads announced they are in a real relationship!

‘Okay not to be Okay’ artsy and melodramatic, but I didn’t really care for it.

Since this thread has been bumped, I'm reposting my post from the new thread since it has links that may be of interest:

There is a whole subreddit for people who are having a hard time letting go of it.

https://twitter.com/RexChapman/status/1345394434947641344?s=20

But there is more/better discussion on the original Crash Landing subreddit.

The best, though, are the blog posts on Bitches over Dramas. Lots of really smart, interesting discussion and cultural information. Here's a link to those posts, in order of most recent so you may want to scroll to the beginning. The posts on Han, saudade, the distinction between fate and destiny, and the breakdown of SeRi's three choices of how to handle the kiss were my favorites.

Oops, wrong link! That was a video of a baby bear trying to catch snowflakes. (also very cute!)

In the last episode, Captain Ri’s mother is playing with some papers in her hands. What is the cultural significance? Is it some sort of prayers? They show two shots of that.

It really bothers me that this drama is pigeon holed in the media as the top Korean drama or the top East Asian drama this year. This should be the top drama period. Bridgerton Schmiderton 🤨

Who wouldn’t fall in love with Hyun Bin. I’m not Asian and I think he is most beautiful man in the world.

+1. He seems like a really good guy in real life-- very philanthropic, has a Master's degree, volunteered for the SK Marines instead of regular army for his compulsory service, has a martial arts background and does his own stunts, considered a career in music instead of acting and actually does play the piano.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin have such amazing chemistry in Crash Landing. I have watched several interviews with them on YouTube and they are both gorgeous, talented and personable. After watching the series I got caught up in the #BinJin rumors on social media. I am thrilled they are dating!
