Yu Ying #25
Inspired Teaching - Match

(IB Thomson)

Not going to lie, I’m supremely shocked at our luck. Was certain we’d end up with our IB. I don’t suppose there’s any shot at Yu Ying with that number, right?

We are #23 for pk3 LAMB -Kingsbury , chances?

It moved by about 80, but this is a new season for LAMB, first year in the MSDC lottery. I think they will be SHOCKED SHOCKED to see they don't have the longest lists in the city anymore

Agreed!

Anonymous wrote:Wow you all had such better numbers than me. We got into our #12 but don't really want to go there, might look at community based options. But for reference...

LAMB #301
Breakthrough Takoma #59
Lee Brookland #166
MV8th #228

... and it goes on like that. Was hoping for good news during the pandemic, and did not get it.

Was above for prek3?

PK3

We are 3rd on the waitlist for Van Ness. We got into Lee Montessori East End.

Can anyone share any experiences with (or touring) Lee Montessori East End?

What are our chances of getting into Van Ness?

Thanks!

We were #77 for EL Haynes last year and we almost had a chance. By October our number dropped to #14 but then stopped there.

I was actually very impressed with Lee East End. It’s authentic Montessori - AMI specifically - so if that’s your thing, I expect you would enjoy it. I really loved some of the personal touches some of the classrooms had, like the specific artwork. Overall, there was a very calm feeling throughout the building, which I didn’t really find at other schools.
