If you saw my original post, my hopes were never up. Hence why I said, I would just stay private. I’m a realist. Tyler would be the only one I would consider out of those 3. |
what’s your current school? |
PK3 - Spanish Dominant at Tyler. |
|
PK-4
Mundo Verde P St #173 Tyler Dual Language (English, In Bounds, No Sibling) #7 Stokes East End #30 |
|
No matches which I figured and these waitlists don't move much at all for PK4.
LAMB SD - 7 DCB - 35 Stokes Brookland S - 22 |
I didn't originally plan to enter the lottery but did bc you never know how you would feel at the end of the school year. I even felt guilty entering it bc the school is amazing and our son LOVES it there. The teachers REALLY care about the kids emotional well being. |
The entire Spanish Dominant PK3 waitlist (11 on lottery day) at Tyler cleared last year just after the beginning of the school year. No clue how big the waitlist is this year of course. |
|
Anyone know how much the LAMB waitlist moved last year?
We are #23 for pk3 LAMB -Kingsbury , chances? |
We just matched with Oyster OOB in PK4. Spanish dominant, so don't be too sure. |
Thank you for those hopeful numbers. Where did you find the data? |
It moved by about 80, but this is a new season for LAMB, first year in the MSDC lottery. I think they will be SHOCKED SHOCKED to see they don't have the longest lists in the city anymore |
You could definitely get in. LAMB typically goes into the 50s on the waitlists across the 3 campuses. There are now two campuses and Kingsbury is the larger one (8 primary classes, I think?). |
I think they went to 80something? Don't quote me on that. |
No one knows how much there LAMB waitlist will move this year since everyone on it last year also entered the MSDC lottery and therefore possibly had more options. |
Well based on this thread we know it goes into at least the 300s Also LAMB DNGAF about its waitlist. This is a weird DCUM theory that doesn’t play out in real life. |
