I’m curious why you just posted this without adding any comment or anything. Did you want to be the first to post this, so you didn’t want to take the time to say something about what you were posting?

This news was shocking, and it’s always sad when someone does in an accident like this. He was young. What a shame.

OP was informing us as a community she/he didn't do anything wrong...it is known that people often learn of news from "associates" and social media on this era.

A young man and child are dead. What’s the point of harping on the type of post? What’s the matter with you?

Seriously.

Three families have suffered major tragedies. The pilots, the Bryants, and the other family who also lost a daughter and father.

Difficult for the friends and teammates of the girls and all of Kobe's family and friends.

Just a tragedy all around.

I’m glad the OP posted.

You are a wacko.

And the poor other family. They also list a spouse and child. This is just so tragic. I am glued to ESPN.

He took the helicopter because he had his daughter's tournament, then he was scheduled to present the trophy at another tournament later in the day in Camarillo and then he had to get back for the Grammy's.

Don’t know much about his personal life , but he was a phenom, a poster child for human potential and an inspiration to countless people around the world.

Such a tragedy for all the families involved.

Just one more reason that's a bad idea - fewer regulations.

Factually incorrect. Transportation by helicopter is highly regulated whether by Part 91 (private) commercial or air ambulance.

RIP. We lost a legend today, and many well loved families. Praying for the hearts of all loved ones impacted. And that they have privacy and support during this time of mourning. I can’t imagine or fathom...

While has was an awesome ballplayer, I'm struggling to remember how he was a poster child for human potential in other ways.

We're told they were on their way to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice when the crash occurred. The Academy is in nearby Thousand Oaks. https://www.tmz.com/
