Never fly in helicopters. They have a single point of failure: the Jesus Nut, that holds the main rotor to the rotor mast. It's called the Jesus Nut because if it fails, you are going to see Jesus.

The poor family. This hit the media within an hour of happening. Families get no time to process before the world knows and I am sure media swoops in trying to get pictures or a sound bite. So much speculation and false information that gets circulated too.

What false info and speculation?

They knew how many people were on the chopper and who they were. That’s all the pertinent info, really.

Kobe famously commuted to laker games and elsewhere by private chopper. This was just a tragic accident.

We're told they were on their way to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice when the crash occurred. The Academy is in nearby Thousand Oaks. https://www.tmz.com/
