Wait, you have to be conventionally attractive to spend money on underwear? Who knew! Someone tell luxury stores to update their policies.

The people who can afford such expensive underwear are few and far between. Majority will not look like this model-

Is this supposed to be attractive?

I'm a straight guy, and was thinking the same thing.

Me, too! I love how luxury brands persuade people to part with their money to feel special. It is genius.

I made the original “Curating” post. If you don’t like my wording, fine. I don’t think curate is an obscure description.

It’s not about feeling special. It’s about buying items that last, are well made and fit nicely. If you don’t like my word choice that is fine. I like lingerie and have an extensive collection. I don’t just go to the mall to buy a black bra in my size. I go to a lingerie store that carries brands that work for me and buy one that works with dress or shirt I plan to wear it with, a bra that fits and I like bras that look good with nothing over them. I have had several custom (would “bespoke” make you die of laughter) pieces made. When we travel I like finding small independent stores to shop and add to my collection. I think my curate description works.

I think that is awesome!! You don't need to justify yourself. I feel like lingerie are some of the nicest items a woman can wear. Some people don't care what they wear at all. Some people only care what they wear if someone else sees it. Some people care what they wear regardless of if others are going to see it or not. Finding an excellently crafted bra that is comfortable, fits like a dream, AND is gorgeous is like hitting the jackpot.

Nordstrom. All Natori

I really like their bras. I am generally small chested but get bigger while pregnant/nursing and for the first time invested in nice, well fitting bras. They fit so well and lasted through both pregnancies and post-partum. Will be finished nursing my second soon and once my boobs readjust and shrink I may go back to get fitted again and get some new Natori.

Not OP, but why? If it is good quality and OP likes it, who cares?
I have spent more on a single piece several times.

What kind of face goes with underwear?

Pretty face with expensive underwear... any face with cheap ones.

I love Costco, but I would never buy my bras there! My girls deserve better
