Except those don’t look like they’re even made with Oreos. I suppose if all you do is sprinkle the tiniest bit of Oreo crumb on top of a macaroon that wouldn’t be enough to ruin it.

Sure - it's in the buttercream and the shells. Some recipes use more Oreos than others.

I don’t really like the Lofthouse cookies, BUT one time we were visiting my mom in AZ and they had a chocolate mint version of them—I think it was a different brand. The cookie part was chocolate and it had green mint frosting and chocolate sprinkles. They were so so good, but I’ve never seen them again.

I posted earlier re chips ahoy but I had forgotten about those Sandies. They really are the worst. And those styrofoam rectangles are also pretty bad.

I had never had one of those lofthouse cookies until some kids’ class party....I was totally repulsed by them but they are also weirdly delicious and addictive.

girl scout cookies. all of them. they are using poor quality ingredients. the ones from 20 years ago were delicious.

Don't know how old your son is, but my kids (11 and 14) LOVE Lofthouse cookies, and all of their friends seem to like them too. I find them a bit too sweet, but they are far from the worst. I actually don't mind most of the ones mentioned here, but fig newtons and pecan sandies are both horribly gross. And sadly, most girl scout cookies are gross now too. They used to be tasty, now they just taste like wax.

I haven’t tried those but like a lot of TJ’s versions so I will have to try them. My favorite healthier version are Nature’s Bakery. They make fig ones and other flavors as well. The outside “cookie” part are thicker and “whole wheatier” which I’d imagine not everyone is a fan of, but everyone in our house loves them.
