Leo DiCaprio is 44. His current girlfriend is 21.

He always dates inappropriately young women. Not sure what your point is?

In 15 years when he's balder and chubby, will it be okay for all the 20-somethings he's boinked to claim he was a creepy predator who took advantage of them?

Somehow I don’t see Leo writing a tell-all memoir recounting brief flings with young actresses. Discretion is the better part of valor. Whatever dalliance they had, it seems minor enough to not be worthy of this level of attention. I think he would have been wiser to leave that chapter out.

I don’t even understand what point you are trying to make.

Her PR team is pushing narrative she was a mere teenager being preyed and creeped on by a powerful, rich and famous 33 year old.

But she was a long-famous Hollywood starlet; rich, powerful, famous, pushy. An adult female attending an Ivy League school.

If he lied about Portman hookups, is he lying about Del Ray too? She hasn't denied his claims.

By his own account, he and Lana Del Ray went on one date and did not have sex. That amounts to pretty much nothing.

I think we should focus on what this reasonable person said. I also think this is the most likely explanation for this particular he said/she said.

Agreed.

I agree also.

And I don’t know how Moby was then but he was on Bill Maher a couple weeks ago and he was SUPER CREEPY. He literally talked about how he would take his flaccid penis out and rub it up against famous people at parties without them knowing. So pardon me if I take her side in this.

That’s a weird thing to do, and an even weirder thing to talk about. Certainly doesn’t help his “I’m not a creeper” position.

Adult women are attracted to and seek out famous rich older men. Many such cases. I suspect 30-something Moby owning the NYC club scene as a rich A list rock star was probably attractive, to some, back in the day. It's not predatory just because it doesn't align with your phony curated perfect mother persona.

That’s a nice theory and might be credible for some other women, but Natalie Portman has never been known as the clubbing type.

This whole thread is just some gross creepers getting off on the idea of getting with a barely legal Natalie Portman.

She didn't go clubbing, she hung out with Moby.

And apparently regrets it.

Hanging out is not the same as dating. She does not deny they hung out a few times, but she doesn’t deny that they dated, and said she stopped hanging out with him was she realized he was creeping on her.

Oh barf. Let’s hear it for some casual sexual assault.

"tried to be her boyfriend" (his words) is clearly not the same as dating. I've been in the same room as guys who wanted to get with me too. We weren't dating.

Around the time this happened, he was dating a friend of a friend who was around 19 or 20. Girl was gorgeous and looked like Natalie, but tall and skinny.

Guys lie a lot. In high school a guy claimed to be my first. Never got there. I had no reason to lie and told the guy who asked me, No not him but months later yes that dude at the party. Guys lie for weird reasons about sex.

The fact that he elided her age to 20 when she had just turned 18, according to the "facts" in his book, should cast doubt on his accuracy overall. I thought NP's comment about fact-checking and neither Moby nor the publisher reaching out to her to verify was a strong pushback.

So he was...honest? But with Portman it’s totally fabricated? Someone should explain the Streisand Effect to Natalie. Nobody would have ever heard about this had she just ignored it.

18 19 and 20 are pretty interchangeable. An adult in college.

Jerry Seinfeld’s young toy was a 17 yo high schooler when he creeped on her in Central Park.

A single date is not “dating.” Do you have any social skills at all?

Moby was a nerd that hit it big on rave scene and she was running in the same circles, they obvi hooked up. Moby calls it “dating” to be respectful, verse saying he slept with her at one of his drug-fueled darties.

I don’t think she is authentic even by Hollywood measure, nor is she a nice, likeable person, it makes it hard to believe her.

I don't like her, but I do believe her. I think, like others have said, they hung out a few times, but to her it wasn't dating, it was hanging out, to him it was dating. I doubt they did anything sexual.
