Do people really always find out they're being cheated on?

He was devastated when I confronted him and begged me not to end our relationship. He was in shock. The consequences were truly inconceivable to him.

All of you who think you’ll never get caught because you never cheat in town are simply living with the sword of Damocles over your head.

How?

I think it's because they are spaced out encounters with people who are also married and value discretion. It doesn't change my interactions or relationship with my DW. I love her and the life we've built together- we're just not sexually compatible. I knew it when we were young, but I also knew she was otherwise a great match for me and would be a great wife and mother.

What a ridiculous statement.

lol yes total denial. His excuse is not sexually compatible. Then get divorced or cheat on your right hand with your right. Just wait this pp will cry the loudest in court when he's caught. I've seen that many times with people I've known. They blame everyone but themselves when all those dominos fall.

+1. Have been having an in town affair for 5 years with spouse none the wiser.

This was my dad. My mom knew and she stayed because if her kids and not wanting to be a divorced single mom.

As we got older we kids knew too, we never confronted dad but we knew.

I’m not surprised. Men aren’t very good at being discreet. I’m not a man.

In the old days we merely followed the guy after work, or before. Had a friend do it or from another car. Now they have gps on Amazon that is very good. My friend recently caught her husband this way. Showed every stop and address he was at. No one deserves to get a std or to be cheated on. It's one of the worst betrayals.

Cheating is a betrayal equivalent to a sexless marriage. Not worse than... but equal to. As in, one cancels the other. Like offsetting penalties in football.

You can't get a deadly std from a sexless marriage. And you have the option to work on it or divorce, Cheating is not a option.

Always No.

I have a friend who has been cheating on his wife for 15 years and she's clueless.

One wife did find out at her DH’s funeral when her husband’s mistress of 5 years (we know because she joined him on some business dinners and trips)...broke down at the funeral.

lol Well if I was the wife I would be glad he was dead after that. At least Karma got him, and she got the assets. The gf was nothing in the realm of things. Still pretty evil for that woman to go to the funeral where his family was.

In Virginia, placing a GPS on a vehicle without the owner's permission is a felony. Get caught and you can kiss your job and future employment good bye.

lol I was always self employed. Also, my friend is married and the cars are jointly owned. Perfectly legal.

I "had" a friend that cheated on her husband while going through Chemo. I dumped her.

You should raise the bar in the friend department, that's a horrible person.
