Would you send your 8-year-old to boarding school?

I wouldn’t send ANY child away all summer, even 15. I love summers with my kids. Most of their favorite memories and vaactions are Summer. The school year is so hectic. A few weeks of camp is great but why would I want the best part of the year to not be family time. I just don’t believe in shipping kids away. The Christian and Jewish camps? Even worse.
