Yep! Exactly. I recommend a 4 or 5 day on the magic and wonder for about the same price if they are trying it out for the first time. Although the dream is a “better” ship. The amount of people, especially in the pools is not fun for anyone. My husband and I do 3 and 4 nights often. But we spend the entire time in the adult areas and adult restaurants. Then the crowds don’t seem to exist

Some of us go to spend time with our kids.

I’m the travel agent you are all replying too. We too, go to spend time with our kids. But we also go for quick weekend getaways sans kids for a variety of reasons and that is when we do the dream and spend our time in the adult areas

We hated our 7 day on the fantasy. No way ANYONE should be paying 10k for a pool packed shoulder to shoulder. Totally crazy.

Please write Disney an email about how you feel. Hopefully it enough people complain, they'll do something. Keep word of mouth going.

I liked it more than I expected. We did a 4-night but I don’t remember what ship. Dream I think. I was pleasantly surprised by the room (was expecting smaller), the food at dinner (was expecting just adequate), the crowds (lighter than I expected), the shows (amazing), Castaway Cay. I didn’t like the pools but that didn’t prevent us from enjoying the cruise a lot.

I think Disney has the biggest rooms on any cruise line (besides suites etc). That's one reason for the price difference. I've looked at rooms on the Royal Caribbean website and they seem like closets!
