They can't recount. There was a GOP move to scrap the digital ballots so a recount COULDN'T be done. (Well, technically the republican SOS decided he couldn't prevent them from being scrapped, but the outcome is the same.) Excuse me, but the schadenfreude is choking me up. |
Live: Roy Moore is not conceding. The Alabama Secretary of State says provisional ballots/military ballots have not been counted yet and if the result is within 0.5% at that point there will be an automatic recount
Rats |
I think Moore should get on a horse and proclaim all his thoughtful reactions to this event far and wide. Ride through the land. Yell out whatever comes ot mind. Please. |
Difference is more than 1.5% now according to my math with the NYT results. That’s a big shift to come from military (mostly R) and provisional (mostly D.) |
Babysitters took away his phone before they tucked him in. Sane person substitute tweeting. |
+1 Wishful thinking on Moore's part. A 1.5% lead when 100% of the ballots have been counted isn't going to change much with some late arriving ballots. |
Here’s Fox - blaming anything but Moore’s own lack of character for his loss. Seriously WTF. How deranged can an entire network be?
The ugly allegations, the searing national spotlight and a divided GOP all took their toll on Roy Moore last night as he lost in Alabama, an outcome that once bordered on unthinkable. |
This was a wake up call to Trump. People are sick and tired of the hatred and vitriol. |
Roy Moore is confusing 1.5 with 0.5 the way he confused 14 with 18. |
LOL. |

"Searing national spotlight"? Snowflake meltdown! |
However, Roy Moore is unwilling to concede, calling for a recount.
This guy is an embarrassment to himself, his family, and really the entire country.... |

63% of white women voted for the Moore. This is despite Moore saying he thought the 19th amendment was a bad thing. 97% of black women voted for Doug Jones. Democrats need to figure out why white women are voting against their own interests.
