(and yes, it happens in Maryland for the dems)

That's amazing. And despicable. The Dems really need to make some big wins by 2020, when the next census is conducted. We need a national consensus on legislative boundaries. Computers combined with non-partisan district drawing committees can easily solve this problem for us.

The GOP is working to coopt the census. They don’t stop until there is an evangelical caliphate:

Might just make all the difference, even if Jones isn't seated yet.

FYI, I don’t think the GOP has been demoralized at all. Only a tiny subset of people wanted Moore to win. Most conservatives fully agreed he was a nutcase. But what you said reminded me of exactly what the liberals were thinking after Trump won. Now *that* must have been demoralizing for you guys, learning just how deeply your liberal agenda was despised.

Nah.

The word you want is "motivating." #Resist, remember? We did.

Turn it up.

This. They’re positively giddy. What a low bar they had to clear.

You really don't understand American politics Vladimir!

Says the doofus who insisted HRC won the election, even though Trump carried the Electoral College - which is all that matters. Too funny!

How many points did Trump win that state by?

Get cozy and complacent. Just really imagine most Americans agree with him and you and the politics of exclusion. Get reallllll cozy. You're safe!

To quote the great Sarah Sanders... "The people of Alabama have spoken and when they decisively voted in Doug Jones to represent them".

I mean, if this works for her defense of our atrocious President, why not use it with Jones.

He won. A win is a win.

+1000

Somehow all the "He won, live with it" is fading, after Virginia, New Jersey, now Alabama. On to 2018. #resist

Interesting how liberals are embracing that school of thought now that they’ve finally got a couple of wins under their belt, isn’t it?

Not 70. More like 62.

So Trump’s win was a win? W’s?

You guys would know all about “cozy, complacent, and safe”... not to mention sanctimonious and smug. Didn’t work out so well for you, did it?

Also - exactly who is being “excluded” in this imagination of yours?

A tiny subset?

Nearly 50% of the voters selected Moore (100% of whom were GOP identifiers, I'd imagine). There was not a low turnout of GOP voters either, it was more or less the expected amount in an off year (~650K).

Like I said, keep flogging your politics of exclusion. It pairs beautifully with the failure of imagination you're currently showcasing.

No, as much as you want them to be. And they tried.

They tried in Alabama? Cite your source, please.

Liberals won't even admit that the attempted bombing in NYC was due to their own policies, even when the guy was found still wired and screaming why he did it.

Exactly. And I have to laugh at the morons claiming the most recent terrorist was “radicalized “ (wtf?) by Trump. He even admitted he had been furious with the policies of Obama. Dems simply don’t want to take any responsibility for their own ineptitude and hubris.

Stock market did really really well under Clinton. The "great recession" happened due to a R president. From Reagan down to Bush, R POTUS pushed for amnesty programs for illegal immigrants. 9/11 - the biggest terrorist attack and only attack on a US state ever happened under a R president.

Rs just don't seem to understand they cause more harm to the US than "liberal" policies.
