FURTHER, the GOP didn't think Donald could win Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, and it's rather queer that he "won" by under 80K. Those are some razor thin margins. So it took treason and voter suppression and the will of the people still wasn't for Donald.

So, yes. The EC failed.
