NP. I haven't read the Federalist Papers, and I've never read the Constitution start to finish, but let me help out the PP a little: the electoral college is ideally supposed to be a failsafe against unfit candidates. Considering that Trump is experiencing dementia, suffers from enormous narcissism and god knows what other personality disorders, and conspired with Russia to fix the election, and that far, far fewer voters wanted him - and we knew all of this before he was installed - yeah. The Electoral College failed. We have an unfit swamp monster in office. |
Wow. Are you a real doctor, or do you just play one on social media? |
Problem is that Hillary would have been a WORSE swamp monster. Better luck next time. |
I'm scratching my head over you not understanding my post. I guess I expect no less from a trumpkin. Again: Donnie needed a strong Russian wind in order to have fewer people want him. And when they show that the votes were changed.... |
HDS. |
Agree. If she contests this election, a year out, she will bring about a crisis that will crash the market, cause middle-class retirees and near-retirees to lose their savings, and have an impact that will reverberate throughout the country. Do you think Hillary cares about that? She is/was so determined to be president that she would put the country in danger (like unclassified emails on a server to thwart FOIA requests) if it meant she could be queen. And you know how everyone thinks Nixon was evil personified? Did you know that the 1960 election was so close,* and the vote so questionable (particularly in Chicago), that he was asked if he wanted to contest. He said no....he didn't want to put the country through that. Too bad Hillary doesn't have Nixon's character. *Old joke: JFK: "Wow, Dad, I won....but it sure was close." Joe, Sr: "Well, I told you I would buy you the election, but I'd be damned if I was going to pay for landslide!" |
Yup. To you Hilbots who keep asking if we regret our vote, every single Trump voter I've asked says that despite how awful he is on a personal level, they STILL feel they voted correctly, given the alternative. |
Which just shows that you lack the ability to reason |
+ One Million |
Oh please. If she's able to do anything like this, it will be slow as hell and the market will have ample time to price it in. |
Have you ever looked at the Constitution? It's very brief. You could read it in 20 minutes, tops. Besides, you're making some bigtime assumptions. 1) We do not know that Trump is experiencing dementia. 2) As far as enormous narcissism and other personality disorders, no worse than Hillary. 3) No evidence he conspired with Russia to fix the election, and 4) the "far, far fewer voters" is meaningless. Your idiot candidate spent time in California, partying it up with George Clooney, instead of in swing states with the working class she was seen as ignoring. Cost her the election. |
So a gradual evaporation of Americans' savings is OK because of her sour grapes? |
Why do you assume the market would crash? Show your work. |
I read the article and the actual quotations. Hillary never said she would contest the election. She said she would question the legitimacy of it if there was evidence of clear interference as revealed by the ongoing Mueller investigation.
You all are a special kind of stupid. Both liberals and conservatives, fighting amongst yourselves about the most inane things. Meanwhile the top 1% is buying influence with our government and lowering their taxes. |
It would throw everything into disarray and divert efforts to improve/grow the economy that voters wanted. |
