Ehhhh she pulled his arm, and when he flung around he ended up hitting her in what was clearly an accident. I wouldn't say he hit her on purpose.

^^ Carrie herself acknowledged that when Big got all fired up thinking she'd been hit.

Different poster. So forget about the hit (which I agree was an accident). How about his neediness? That "I need you to hold my hand rather than going to a party in your honor." I would hate to be with someone so clingy.

Smith for the win. Dr. Robert can be runner-up.

At the beginning sex and the city was realistic when it comes to Miranda's dating prospects, which would, of course, be dismal. By the end she seemed to live in a fantasy world where a gorgeous sexy doctor was obsessed with her. And meanwhile Charlotte had shifted from pulling all the hot wasp dudes at the yacht club to being stuck with HARRY.

I felt like some of the writers' wishful thinking was coming through by the last season

Trey wasn't perfect but he was wonderful compared to all the guys Carrie dated. Trey was kind, sweet, well educated, successful and came from a good established family. He had issues in the bedroom but it wasn't something a visit to the shrink couldn't finish. Even with children, Charlotte became crazy and hormonal during IVF but eventually he would've come around for that too. He didn't say he never wanted children, just that he was exhausted from IVF.

+1

He just needed to get over some of his sex issues. I also would be fine considering he gave her license to step out on the marriage. It seems like a great set up

It was honestly not believable that someone with Char's good looks and commitment to marriage would have to settle for Harry.

Miranda would've realistically ended up with a skipper.

Carrie with a Burger type. Maybe a fellow neurotic self obsessed writer.

Exactly. And Samantha would have stayed single.

Miranda looked and dressed a LOT better at the end of the show than she did at the beginning. Plus she had $.

Not a catch. I might have been tempted to bang him regularly until I met someone who adored me. But I wouldn't have gotten attached to him. For one thing, he didn't want kids!

Why bother getting married at all if it's to a dude with "sex issues" that you need to step out on? Girl you need to find someone to properly service you!!!

Carrie didn't really want kids either. This was probably the only thing that made them right for each other!

That's what their tennis guy was for, lol!!! Maybe I have dismal standards of monogamy, but that "You can step out on me, it's fine" it's completely alright with me, lol. I'd rather get to bang new hot guys every couple months than the same one nagging for sex all the time
