No he wasn't. I felt like Harry was that guy that women get pressured into liking/dating/marrying. Like, "Yeah, he's ugly as hell and you have zero sexual attraction- but he's really NICE!!!!" You'll notice it doesn't ever seem to go the other way. You don't really see a hot total catch guy in a TV show end up up with a rotund unattractive "really nice girl " |
You guys are insane. Smith was the best one that any of the four dated. He was hot, loving, supportive, loyal, and wealthy (eventually). Still not enough for Samantha. And he forgave her for an affair, which Aidan could never have done. |
Agreed that Smith is by far the catch of the show, hands down |
Ugh, I broke up with an Aiden and married a Berger. Such a bad decision, especially now that I'm dealing with my own baggage.
+ a million on Smith. |
Maybe she is trying to move on from Princess Kate. Go with it. |
+3. Chris Noth was so effing hot back in the day. |
+1 thousand. I'm surprised no one said Baryshnikov was a catch. Or Steve the bartender. ![]() |
He was hot in the first few seasons, although his character and attitude are not a catch.
I thought he looked fat old and gross in the movies though. |

He was but he was also repulsive. Remember the episode where he drips sweat? Yuck. |
Sure, he was attractive enough and wealthy. But he was such a dick. But as another poster pointed out, Carrie was pretty damn shallow.
I catch reruns sometimes and wonder why we even bothered with any of this. Mostly just shitty people doing ridiculous things. |
No. Married way too many times. And just generally kind of cheesy and a womanizer. He was a good catch for Carrie because she had expensive tastes and low income/no family money. Plus she loved drama so probably liked that he was so hot and cold. |
Absofuckinglutely.
And to add, I don't think Carrie solely loved him for the drama. Don't forget, they got along very well and had fun and were happy when they were together. And they both liked to live BIG and had similiar tastes and enjoyments. Their love for NYC. They had a lot more in common than any of her other boyfriends. |
Way back then when the shows were airing I did. Now? No way!! |
Carrie was so tacky. |
