I've read that the are flipping around 40 houses at any given time, so the show is a tiny portion of their business. Also, I've read that they do shitty flips just like many other flippers. The presence of an investor seems less weird when you imagine all the properties they're working on.
I always thought he was a bit demanding to her. Always cautioning her that she didn't understand the budget and acting like she's a silly women with her fancy design ideas, which in the end always pay off. I mean, that is probably their act but it's annoying to see a woman treated like that. |

| They don't seem like they're as well grounded as Chip and Joanna Gaines of "Fixxer Upper". Tarik and Christina always seemed more California plastic and they put their business and celebrity ahead of their marriage and their children. The Gaineses seem to,incorporate those things better. |
