Depending on where you grow up, speaking multiple languages may be natural. In my family, we're all fluent in 3, including a mentally disabled family member who has limited vocabulary but, on his level, is fully trilingual.

I'm from the Netherlands and speak fluent Dutch, English and German. Enjoyed 4 years of French in High school so I can follow a French conversation.
I however don't brag about it as even a cashier in The Netherlands will speak the same 3 or 4 languages Fluent.
What bothers me most is how Donald Trump likes foreign woman as he can BS them easily.
What is a disgrace is that young woman now think that you can become 1st lady of the US by posing nude, instead of hard honest work.

Michelle Obama and even HRC at least were educated and accomplished in their own right, before marrying their husbands. This is a sad day in America for young girls.

Hillary has her own ambitions and goals other than being just a wife, which I might add caused her endless problems when she started out as First Lady. Melania was a model, which is a very small step above prostitution. To even begin to compare Hillary, who went to Law School, to Melania, who poised nude, is laughable... and you know it. Melania Trump is a gold digging trophy wife who can't even write her own speeches. But time is ticking on their marriage since she is quickly aging out so I won't be too harsh.

She is not intelligent: her language skills aren't even as good as those of my cleaning lady, whose English is a lot better than Melania's, even though my cleaning lady has never even BEEN to America...unlike Melania the moron, who has lived in the US for years and still can't speak English well. Melania is a college dropout whose career highlights include nude modeling, and who then married a horrible misogynist and stays with him (presumably because she has no desire or means of supporting herself). Would you want your daughter to drop out of college, model nude, and then marry a man who treats women/speaks about women as Donald Trump does? Really?

Most very wealthy NY women are very involved in charity but not her. There is no evidence that she is not completely shallow and vapid.

We're living in another country, as I clearly indicated in my post. A country near Melania's home country, in fact, so I really do many Europeans who speak multiple languages (and better English than Melania). My cleaning lady is from the country where we are living right now; her English is much stronger than Melania's. Also, I'm not "ugly" and "fat", but even if I were, so what? Hahaha! And I don't insult victims of hate crimes or condone sexual assault in any language, which is exactly the right amount.

I'd love to speak many languages, but there is simply nothing to admit about Melania even if she does speak several languages as people from that part of the world who emigate (as PPs have posted) so often do. She is vapid, unethical and callous. I am really hoping Ivanka is willing to act as first lady and she can spend time on whatever she was doing before Trump ran.

I will have you know that Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian are not the same language! No, really, they are not. I was going for purposefully dramatic there! LOL. However, they are very close and you can order in Serbian in Slovenia and even young people who haven't studied Serbian in school will understand you. When Mrs. Trump was growing up it was mandatory in schools to learn Serbo-Croatian. And also those are not two or three different languages, Croats, Bosnians, Serbs, Montenegrins can talk all they want, they speak the same exact language with a few different accents and dialects. The nonsense over how Bosnian is different language than the other two is just that, insecure nonsense. But, apart from that I also speak bunch of languages,(also not that good anymore since I am here and don't use German and French almost at all) and yet my English is almost perfect, making me think, she barely studied it in school, and probably took German and French instead. All of my "Yugoslav" friends here speak English enormously better than she does. She should have applied herself more, it is not that difficult.

Slazem se potpuno! I am Bosnian and completely agree with this. The distinction between Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin was made for political reasons, not linguistic ones. Every Sloven Melania's age speaks (or should) speak Serbo-Croatian. It's not really an accomplishment at all. She has been in this country longer than me and her English sucks. It's hard to listen to her. I say this as someone who had to learn just like she did.
