I really don't understand what are people criticizing her for? She certainly seems to have played her cards right and smart. She came from Yugoslavia, had decent education and upbringing. She did drop out of college,but to earn money. She had a career that would allow her to live of off, as a model, better than to work in a useless office in Slovenia for nothing. She married well, really well, and yet seems to try to stay out of the spot light. And now she will be the First Lady of the United States. Not bad for a former communist child and I really don't see anything stupid in it. She seems to understand how the world runs and I see no reason to call her opportunists any more than Hilary or any other women married for money or fame of power. Hilary sure stayed married for power and political reasons, otherwise why are we supporting a woman who allowed her husband to humiliate her non stop? How is Melania any different than Hilary? Both have suffered much humiliation by their husbands, both will end up in history books as First ladies of men with questionable moral reputation.
