Sex with teens around.

OP here. I can live without sex. We don't have a lot of it. I don't understand your question.

OP here. Where did I say that? We actually only ever have sex at the end of the day
We wake at different times. So morning is a no go. Daytime? Never ever.

I never have morning sex. Why is that weird? I'm not a morning person. DH doesn't even talk to be until I have a cup of coffee in me.

I think it was fine. It actually let me know that sex is a natural part of a strong marriage. My parents are now in their early 80's and still have sex. Good for them!

How do you know so much about your parent's sex life?

HUH?

I think PP means knowing that they're still having sex in their 80s.

Yeah that's not "so much" info at all. Just one indication of their health.

No one said anything about their health. I don't think most people discuss their 80 year old parents sex life with them.

I doubt it's a long discussion of frequency, positions, and endurance. Maybe something like, "We're lucky to still have somewhat of a sex life. Most of our contemporaries do not.
"

Erghhh even this is not a conversation I would ever want to have with my parents. (Also how do they know if their contemporaries are or aren't having sex and why would that be a discussion with their children?)

Friends commonly talk about sex! It's an important part of life!

I remember being a teen and my adult cousin teasing my grandparents that he wanted to slip gramps some viagara. Grandma replied that he didn't need it. They were in their 70s or 80s at the time.

Your initial post said you're too tired by the kids are in bed. If it isn't daytime, just go for it.

Yes. I am too tired once the kids are in bed. That's why there isn't much sex happening at all.

If you didn't want your children to hear you then you should not of had kids. You knew for 18 years, they'd be living under your roof so don't complain now about them possibly hearing you all.

I'm not complaining! I was asking for pointers on how other manage. As I said, I can live without. We have gone months before. We will rather not have sex Tham risk them hearing
If it's a sex life or kids, I choose kids. You are truly bizarre.

It's bizarre that you view this as having to be a choice.

A DH here and I doubt that OP's DH agrees.

That was in response to a PP saying I shouldn't have had kids....

I'm confused on why the suggestions for White noise or TV won't work?

Where did anyone say that won't work?

I think a lot of people here are disgustingly selfish.
