What is it with Montgomery County?

Every state in has gifted education, gifted education is required by the Maryland State Board of Education.

What they should do is have gifted education in every school, and since the manget programs are really just a few classes in middle school, they should also have advanced middle school classes in every school.

The weird way that MontCo has HGC's is ridiculous.

Schools in the northern part of the county are still digging out. Maybe the school system needs to be broken into north county and south county.

Because it would be administrative chaos. Kids from all over the county go to school all over the county.

But that has always been a problem as well. Get rid of magnets and hgc. More wasted tax dollars

Let's get rid of special ed too. And specials. Also sports, drama, and music programs. And electives. And grades. All, all wasted tax dollars. What we need is to go back to the basics: one-room school houses with 48 kids (who walked there) and one teacher, who is an unmarried, non-pregnant woman.
