So true for much of Potomac!

Really? I could've afforded Bethesda, but chose Potomac. Didn't feel like being on top of people all the time. We have a beautiful wooded home and couldn't be happier. YMMV.

That said, these women don't look like most people I see in Potomac.

Before we moved we had a beautiful, huge lot in Bethesda with lots of trees and woods. Couldn't even see our neighbors.

Plenty of lots like that in Bethesda... But you have to be willing to pay extra.

NP. New to MoCo but my impression was Potomac is wealthier than Bethesda. Is that not right? Got to get my snobbery down!

The first thing I said to my sister when I saw the cast was, "do they even have that many black people in Potomac?" She accused me of being racist and hung up on me.

But it's just an issue of statistics and demographics. Glad to see others on here agree with me.

Bethesda is probably the most concentrated wealth in the DC area. Potomac has some big estates but also plenty run down cheaper houses. The lander is cheaper the further out you go from the city, as a general rule

They are all so beautiful!

Some of the things they spoke about in the blurb on Bravo and in the trailer sounds a lot like things people bicker about on here. So I don't care if you are from Potomac/Bethesda/Chevy Chase/McLean/Arlington wherever, many of you act the same and could easily be writing the storylines for the show as you type.

Where in the world is Potomic?

Sounds like the Real Housewives of Oilville.

A lot of casual racism and classism in this thread. Kind of nauseating.

I always thought the REAL money was in Chevy Chase. And then Bethesda had a mix while Potomac was new money.

Everyone knows there is nothing real about any of these reality series, so maybe we should all come down from our high horses. I'd rather watch these women than ehat you all would consider the "real" women in Potomac. These women actually seem to have some spunk and personality.

+1. They will not show these women in Potomac just like they don't show ATL in Buckead or the far out burbs that they live in. For all intents and purposes it will be DC/elite black women/Jack and Jill types. I know at least two of them are AKAs.

Is AKA a sorority? Or like Jack and Jill?

Sorority

I doubt most people in the US have even heard of Potomac.

I live here and don't know where it is!

That's sad.

There is a Potomac High School in VA and MD.

You sound surprised. It's typical DCUM.

Potomac, MD is 5% African American. Just because you don't see the in abundance does not mean they are not there.
