+1. NYC and DC are absolutely terrible for serious dating. |
+1 Carrie was dickmatized. I thought everyone knew that. |
+1. At first I thought the OP had erred the first name of Beatrice of York. |
How do you mean? |
Yes but divorced by 30 at the latest. |
No way. She wouldn’t have divorced until mid-thirties. She would have stayed married until her kids were in school. |
Agreed. Harry is the kind of guy she was most likely going to end up with and be happy long term. As a sweeping generalization guys who grow up around surrounded by Charlottes were probably not in a hurry to get married and not in a hurry to marry someone like their mom, aunt, sisters, etc. Trey wasn't enthusiastic about getting married more like sure why not. Can't remember Harry's backstory but he struck me as a guy who didn't grow up well to do, but did very well for himself as an adult. To him Charlotte was out of his league, end all be all, upscale woman. |
+1 ...I grew up in an uppity suburb and then went to an Ivy league college and there were two big bumps in divorces among my peers' parents. A big group that got divorced when the kids entered Kindegarten or first grade, and then it was pretty quiet, then another group that got divorced when their kids were all out of the house/in college. |
I’m sorry but this is offensive to LGBQ parents. Knock it off. |
THANK YOU!!! The meds were basic at best and most definitely on Carrie’s level. Ugly and homely is Miranda, who didn’t deserve Steve and most definitely didn’t deserve Blair Underwood. |
**men not meds |
Sure but they were all rich and high status andbso out of Carrie’s league. |
| Um...the actress who played her is still single IRL. She finally adopted on her own. |
I think the thread is about the character, not the actress. Charlotte was traditionally pretty, marriage minded, and not particularly career oriented. It really didn’t make sense she was single. |
She was very picky though. She only dated high status men with elite jobs. |
