Let's get real: Charlotte York would never have been single

^Oops, I meant Samantha was hilarious (got her name wrong)

No way Carrie could have afforded that wardrobe or that apartment on a freelance writer's salary! Or reporter, whatever.

I loved Charlotte's apartment.

You really have no clue as to the socio-economic, educational, and personal factors that go into when women and men get married?

It may even stun you to know that many women marrying very young are not particularly attractive, wealthy, etc.

I think if you re-read OP's post post, she listed more than her looks as the determinant. And you also might want to dial back the tone. It's just a silly musing about a tv show.

bwahahaha! +1

this sounds like some spill over from the SES thread in off topics. don't even bother looking at it!

OP, have you been in the dating world lately? I know at least a dozen Charlottes in real life. It's tough out there in NYC and DC.

so this thread is really happening, huh?

Correction: she is 50, and a single, never-married mom. And still very beautiful.

Maybe she didn't want to get married?

I agree with OP. Charlotte would have picked someone by 30.. Not pushed it till 35. Her high income WASPY parents would have stepped in and told her to stop being so picky.

The Miranda character was so realistic. I an Miranda. I know lots of Mirandas.

I blame her character for resurge of the name in the mid 2000s. I think a lot of women liked that show and then name.

So who has she dated and did she use a sperm bank. Why is she single? I'm so curious now.

I just read her wiki page, she adopted. But it doesn't list past boyfriends. Surely she had lots of serious relationships?
