Gotta love them though. I'm sure women here and some men assume weight lifting will make you look like a man. Which is my point of putting the Marliyn images. I see it with my co workers who are overweight, I can understand having health concerns but I see a lot of exuses for women not even working out or even attempting to be healthy. Men, on here might say they like soft women but I doubt they mean women who are size 14 unless that is there preference and that should be respected. However, women who choose to excerise should be respected for wanting a certain body type.

You seem to have a vendetta where you want to prove that women can lift weights. First of all, people dont have to have an "excuse" not to lift weights. They can do exactly as they choose. I personally, dont like muscle on women's bodies, I wouldnt be attractive to a woman with muscle definition. Just my preference.

And I think Marilyn's idea of working out is very different from what we think of nowadays, where women spend an hour or so at the gym or in fitness classes. Women in the 50s had a much more classic silhouette and much less muscle on them, similar to the women in Europe nowadays. Whatever Marilyn is doing in these photos or her ten minutes a day of lifting a light weight is totally unobjectionable and wont lead to any build up of muscle, unlike the women today who are pumping iron at the gym because they (mistakenly) think we will like it.

I don't have a vendetta, I just think if a woman who wants to lift weights should do so. I'm not from the U.S. at all I grew up with women having curvy bodies which is the norm form where I am from.

I have a close friend who actually does crossfit competitions and I see her as having a great body as well as women who are thin, curvy or whatever size they are. I think women who lift probably do it for themselves, and hopefully they don't do it for men.

My point is that women to bash other women's bodies pretty harsh more than any man will.

^That's not true. I have heard men say some pretty gross things about the female body.

I think for the most part, like attracts like.

Fluffy men like fluffy women. Fit men like fit women (and vice versa).

I that is true for me, as I've gone from fat/fluffy/etc to fit. I used to be attracted to chunkier men. Now, I'm more attracted to fit men. Not bodybuilder status - but athletic men in good, fit shape.

I am a woman who is "curvy"- 23 percent body fat, so I guess I look like that girl in the fourth photo. I tend to date very muscular guys. i feel like my physique is in the more attractive/desirable category for women, so I get to choose the most desirable category for guys. I find most ripped guys, who look very masculine, want a woman who looks very feminine.

The ideal women's look is only achieved by plastic surgery. Exercise makes women look haggard.

Having 23% body fat is the only way to look feminine?
How long can they deal with your shitty personality?

NP here. Why do you assume there's only 1 person who feels that way? There are bound to be a range of opinions.

Meh, the consensus from guys has been fairly clear. It's bizarre that in the past few hours there seem to be many women weighing in about how they have muscles and how Marilyn Monroe used to work out for ten minutes and blah blah blah... definitely seems like the same poster.
