Since this thread started off with a discussion of third graders, perhaps one might allow for the possibility that they will realize there are more important things in life than AAP before they send out their resumes. |
Seriously. That kind of behavior actually shows a real lack of intelligence. I often avoid volunteering at our school because of the obnoxious, know-it-all attitudes of many of the kids. |

Pot, meet kettle. Kids are growing up and still maturing. On any given day, they can be funny, charming, compassionate, thoughtful and supportive of one another, or they can be self-absorbed, argumentative PITAs. Adults who go on message boards and complain incessantly about kids really should know better than to be so judgmental and nasty. |
