Yeah. I really don't care how smart they are. Insulting other kids doesn't require intelligence. Time for some humility.

FCPS must send out a memo: NO more mean girls!

No, not FCPS. Parents need to ensure their kids can show humility no matter what it's about. Intelligence, wealth, athletic ability. The whole "I'm better than you" attitude gets really old, really fast.

good luck with that. It's Fairfax.

So, let's see how that snotty attitude will help them succeed in their careers? I would think if anything it could back fire them when they enter the real world.

Since this thread started off with a discussion of third graders, perhaps one might allow for the possibility that they will realize there are more important things in life than AAP before they send out their resumes.

Seriously. That kind of behavior actually shows a real lack of intelligence. I often avoid volunteering at our school because of the obnoxious, know-it-all attitudes of many of the kids.

I hope you know how immature that makes YOU sound. Believe me, no one wants judgmental people like you "helping out."

Since it's painfully obvious (and tiresome) how very much you want the last word here, go right ahead and have it.

Pot, meet kettle.

Kids are growing up and still maturing. On any given day, they can be funny, charming, compassionate, thoughtful and supportive of one another, or they can be self-absorbed, argumentative PITAs.

Adults who go on message boards and complain incessantly about kids really should know better than to be so judgmental and nasty.
