| I just bought Yeungling, Fat Tire, and Harp for our Easter gathering. |
| Stella, Peroni, Sam Adams, Heineken... |
Hey that's fine, to each his own. It's a free country, blessed with many beers. But the link between the Coors family, the Coors brewery, and far-right-wing politics is hardly tenuous. And boycotts of Coors long pre-date the internet. Google it out. As for whether we're kooks -- your opinion may vary. Just sayin,' for those tossing their beer choices around. Now back to the beer. |
| On the local craft front, I've got to give a shout out to Devils Backbone of Nelson County, VA. Also Full Nelson Pale Ale, which I think is from a different Nelson County brewer. And I love DC Brau "The Public." |
Ugh. Look party pooper, this is a party beer thread. You're being a Debbie downer with all the political junk; take it over to the Politics sub forum. Now back to the party! |
| Devils Backbone Vienna Lager is absolutely delicious. In fact, I think I have a few in the fridge. Mmmmmm Beeeer /homer |
| Yuengling are union busters. |
| Miller owns Coors now, so all the history is moot. |

No one has mentioned any stouts so I will recommend Milk Stout and Starr Hills Dark Starr.
And for the record I'm a suburban white hausfrau. |
these are some of the best beers on the planet, brewed not by corporations and not for profit really, not not interested in the 'hop war'. how does that list get an eye roll? |
