Except Coors is evil. (Racist, anti-environment, anti-union, but mostly racist.)
I totally agree with you on a refreshing light beer after mowing the lawn. Mine is Bud, or Michelob Ultra. |
Yep.
|
| I always liked Killians Red. |
No, there is some truth to what he is saying. There are lots of non-hoppy options, but sometimes you go to a restaurant and they will have a long list of craft beers, 95% of which are IPAs. There is a certain set for which the goal is to make the beer hoppier. I like good beers and am personally not a fan of IPAs, but I see what he is saying. The last time in Vermont there was one that everyone kept saying we just had to try -- it sold out quickly and was hard to find. It was, you guessed it -- the hoppiest beer ever. |
PP again. The hoppy thing is analogous to Restaurant Week -- it's for rookies! But it does exist. |
Sadly, another Coors product. |
Who cares? Still tasty. |

In 1984, I read a business column in which Peter Coors explained that the reason there were so many small business failures in America is that so many black people were attempting to start businesses when they didn't have the skill set. And that the sooner blacks realized that their role in the American economy is labor, the sooner our economy would get back on track.
I have not paid for a Coors product since that day. |

The ones I have been drinking recently are Full Sail Amber Ale, Bell's Amber, Bells' Two-Hearted Ale, Ommegang Hennepin or New Holland Golden Cap.
...now that it is spring Hoegaarden or Celis White |

A lot of brewers sell variety packs with three or four different types of beer. Those are great for parties.
Personally, now that summer's a-coming, I'm getting ready for some great, refreshing wheat beers. Yum! |
| Blue Moon is swill. I'd rather drink Miller High Life out of a can than have to drink Blue Moon. |
| If the beer is good, I really don't give a crap about some tenuous link to politics that kooks are the Internet are attempting to draw. |
Cold.
I'm originally from Texas, so I will give a shout out to Shiner. I'm pleased that it's now readily available in most major grocery stores in the DC area. |
I agree! Though if you want to get fancy, I'd go for Bells Bells Oberon. . .YUMMMMM
|
| ...ahhh Shiner Bock...mmmm good!!!! |
