That's crazy. Do you carry alot of weight in your stomach? No way you should be an 8. |
I just don't believe this. When I was running 6 miles a day and weighed 10 pounds less than you at an inch taller, I couldn't have squeezed into size 8 if my life depended on it. |
This is me too. I'm a 4 on top and an 8 on bottom. 5'5", 138 OH, and I've been an 8 forever -- even back when I only weighed 125. Vanity sizing is both good and bad. |
I'm 5'3", 155 lbs, and a size 8. I workout 6 days a week, and have legs of steel. An hourglass waist. DD bust, well defined waist, and a bigger butt & hips. It is what it is. People's bodies don't come off an assembly line, and they're built pretty differently from person to person. |

I think I probably just need new pants. Not too much weight in my stomach, no, but still a bit poochy from two babies. Still nursing the 8 month old and hoping to lose a bit more, so I haven't shopped in a century. |

8 sometimes a 10. I do not like wearing tight clothes so I don't even try on a 6. Depending on the brand, an 8 or 10 is a good place to start for me. A nine is good but I don't like younger styles. I try to dress age appropriate. You see lots of older women doing the 20 year old look and it comes off sleazy almost pathetic slutty. I like coverage and I'm not trying to get attention. Last night on Millionaire Shoppers an actor's wife had on what the gay dude told her was a size 6. She looked like a 200 pound sausage stuffed in that dress. It was a tight 18 at least. |
This is me exactly. I'm now 1 kid in at 160 and am working hard to get back to the 140's. To the other PP, I don't think you're kidding yourself about 145, that is a perfectly healthy weight for your height, as long as you're exercising. There's a big difference between a fit 145 and a fat 145 -- that's true for any weight. I run about 3-4 miles/5 days a week so my current 160 is a totally different size and shape than my fat/lazy 160, but there's still a lot of work to do. I was a fit 140 at my wedding and I looked a lot healthier than I did when I was pretty much anorexic at 118 in college. I think your goal is a good one! |

OP, why do you ask?
|
| I way 500 pounds and am 5'0 and wear bedsheets instead of pants. Why do we have these stupid threads? So people can validate their weights with each other? |
| Ha, weigh, not way |
I have the same numbers as the quoted lady, and I definitely feel... curvy. Not thin, not by any stretch. The big boobs are the worst part. I feel like they make me look fat. But yeah, the poochy tummy doesn't help, either. But hell, I'm 40 and healthy. It's not something I expend a lot of mental energy on. |
