| When I was 150 pounds at 5'7" I was a size 8. Now I am 160 pounds and I am at a size 12.. Can't get below 160! Menopause. |

| 5'10,160. I wear an 8 most places, a 6 at the Gap. |
| It absolutely depends on the brand. I'm usually a 6 but sometimes an 8. I'm 5'9" and 145# |
| When I wore 8 15 years ago, I was about 130 lbs. Now I'm still 130 lbs and wear a 4. Changes in body shape (less pear) and vanity sizing. 5'5". |
I'm similar too, but it totally depends on body composition for me. Right now at 5'4.5" and 149 lbs, I wear mostly 10s and one or two 8s. All the 10s gap at the waist, but I need the extra room for my thighs/hips/ass. When I was losing weight pre-baby and was working out 5-6 days/week, more of my weight was muscle and so I was solidly a size 8 at 149 lbs. When I hit around 140 I was in mostly 6s, and at my low weight of 133 I was wearing some 4s. If I get down to those weights again with my current body composition (i.e. less muscle and more fat) I expect I'll be wearing a full size larger. Right now, I just want to get back to being solidly in an 8. Time to get back to strength training and/or shed 10 lbs! |
Me too. I am pear-shaped. |
| 5'7, 150lbs |
Whew - all this was scaring me. I'm 5'7" and I consistently range from 140-145. I wear size 4/6 but lots of muscle and very flat. Amazing how body shape can determine size.. |
| 140 lbs, 5'5 |
| I was a size 8 in pants at around 130; I'm 5'5". I was a size 8 in dresses at around 145. I'm not Kim K., but apparently my booty is wide. |
|
5'8, 153.
If I weigh 145-48, I'm a size 6. |
| 140 - 5'2. (wear a 6-8 on top, 8-10 on the bottom) Muscular and pear-shaped. |
Definitely, because I often have trouble keeping up size 6 pants, and I'm 139 at 5'1". |
|
5'2" 134lbs
I wear size 4/6 pants but I have DDDs and buy size 6 or 8 and have it altered accordingly... Unless we are talking J.Crew/Gap/Banana then I am a solid size 2/4, but European brands I am definitely a size 8. |
