| Anybody watch Last Man Standing with Tim Allen? I think that's pretty good and funny. |
| OP here. Just watched The Millers and it was actually pretty funny! |
I personally think all of these except for Roseanne and the Cosby show (maybe Seinfeld) are terrible. I do love Frasier though. |

I admit i am not aware of most current TV but the last show i enjoyed was Modern Family - very funny and entertaining. Nothing else has made me laugh or want to watch regularly since ... Ummmmm ... Cheers??! Maybe Everybody Hates Chris.
In my opinion every sitcom type show has a shelf life - they just don't stay funny for years on end. I think Cheers ran so long because of the main actors turning over so often, it kept the show fresh in a way. But for me, they all "jump the shark" after 3 or 4 years. The characters get stale and so do the jokes. This is coming from a person with short attention span obviously! My kids (ages 10 - 16) have seen bits and pieces of many popular shows from past decades. Some hits and some misses, not so much laughing though. they have some nostalgic value to me but not laugh out loud funny. A few exceptions are Taxi (Danny DeVito!!!!), everybody loves Raymond (sorry haters) and The Fresh Prince. They are much more into sketch comedy shows, i don't think they follow any show regularly. |
| I like Big Bang Theory and do laugh at that. |
Everybody Hates Chris is funny; writers are witty as hell. And Modern Family is a hoot, too. I LOVE Impastor on TVLand. my new favorite comedy |
Frasier was great! |
| GUYS THIS THREAD IS FROM 2013 |
And sitcoms today still suck! |
| I liked Last Man on Earth and have seen a few episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt |
Two all time favs. |

If you want to find sitcoms that don't suck, then your choice is simple. Just watch MeTv. It's the only channel on TV that isn't filled with mindless crap.
In other words it's all tv shows from back in the good old days. |
