I suggest you do your own research. I have no idea where PP poster got her numbers for YY but when I did some probing on the DC Charter board site for 2012 Composite scores, Haynes had significantly better scores for both their AA and Caucasion students in Math (BIG discrepancy) and for their AA students in Reading (about 4% higher). Haynes scores were a about 1% better for Reading for their Caucasion students. The Hispanic students appeared to really pull down the Reading numbers for Haynes. jajaj the Spanish pulling the numbers down when it seen like the Spanish are only a small number of the student population most of the student here are AA and Caucasion |
jajaj the Spanish pulling the numbers down when it seen like the Spanish are only a small number of the student population most of the student here are AA and Caucasion +1. Over 50% Haynes students are AA, so it seems highly suspicious to try to blame bad overall results on minority Hispanic group. Overall YY results are clearly better than Haynes. That is of course not the only consideration, but please don't fudge the numbers. |
I apologise for my ignorance, but looking at the link, what are Tier 1 and Tier 2? |
|
Tier 1 = Top performing schools based on test scores
Tier 2 = Second best... Tier 3 = Third best... (i.e. needs significant improvement on test scores) |
