Ok, but in English it means monkey! Or rather, primate. To refer to someone as having "simian" features means they look like a monkey. There are lots of beautiful words in other languages that mean something entirely different in other languages. And that disqualifies them as names, in my book, if you have any connection at all to the language that carries the other meaning.

Trying to think of some kids I taught...

Raven (her mother was Starr)
Jacobie (called him Cobie)
Kylle (pronounced like Kyle guess the second l was silent)
Priest

I did see someone sign her name at a store - her last name heartly she made a heart than put ly after the heart. The cashier kinda giggled and asked for an id - she signed her license like that too. She was young like 19 - so hopefully she grows out of it before she names kids

Haven't seen a child's name but saw a grown woman's name on her name tag. Her name was "Semen".

I don't think you know the definition of "bigot", the people whom name their children "Hunter" are usually the bigoted, racist, gay-hating ones.
