Oh how I wish she'd run just for the opportunity to see her face when the final tally came in. Three of her PC sheep ran for BoE a couple of years ago. Don't remember seeing them on the ballot? Of course you don't b/c all three came in DEAD LAST in their respective primaries.

The PC is what it is. A place in cyberspace for Janus to rant and rave. Talk about a housefrau with too much time on her hands...

To all complaining about the gym floor at WCHS, please keep in mind that gym floor decisions are handled by ICB not the school itself. Churchill cannot make decisions concerning the gym floor. The funds for the scoreboard are 100% from the Booster Club. The sign at Tuckerman and Gainsborough was funded by the Classes of 2009, 2010, the PTSA, Boosters and Music Department.

Since when was MCPS about our children? The Gazette reports that giving teachers TWO raises will leave little money for OUR children' s needs. We have a superintendent who walks around claiming he is a social justice warrior while sending his kids to the best schools, running around with bodyguards, and pandering to the unions.

Since when did MCPS care about anything more than filling their pockets with our tax dollars?

I see Janus or one of her Parents Coalition sheep is trolling this topic. Come out come out where ever you are Janus!

haha you have no idea but you will soon. Enjoy the ride because it's about to get very uncomfortable for a lot of folks at Churchill/MCPS. This is one is going to come out of left field and surprise you. It really has nothing to do with the scoreboard except to illustrate that WCHS athletic priorities are completely screwed up. I am a one issue person right now and have no affiliation with the parents coalition.

You are too cool, One Issue Person - or OIP.

Drove by Churchill today. There were 3 guys on the field busily cleaning the football goal posts.... or whatever they're called. I'm not happy about paying maintenance people to clean the stupid goal posts. How dirty can they get? And more importantly, who cares?

They are probably cleaning the bathrooms and classrooms too. How dare they!

I know, right? Clean anything is for private school kids. Public school kids should get used to grime.

You probably had no idea what you were seeing. But just in case they were cleaning the goal posts and you object to it why not get your lazy ass down there and volunteer?

Why the hell to goal posts ever need to be cleaned? I'm all for keeping bathrooms and other IMPORTANT facilities clean. I do not see the point in cleaning goal posts. I'm not even sure the football community would care about that.

Ummmm....cleaning the ENTIRE school is part of the summer maintenance program and the goal posts might even get painted this summer. Oh the humanity!!! I have to say that this is the first time I have heard a complaint about MCPS cleaning something!

The goalposts have been painted a neon yellow. I hope they glow in the dark!

Oh good, now 15:48 won't be able to miss their clean, shiny neon glitteriness every time she drives by, even at night!

Love this! Too bad we have no clue what the One Issue is. Not convinced OIP knows either, though.
