Exactly. Therein lies my problem. Finding time to exercise without sacrificing my limited time with my children. End result - I don't exercise often enough and mostly just during the weekends when I bike with my kids, etc. |
| I did the same when my kids were little. Walked/ran with the kids, hiked on the weekends, lifted/did videos at home. And it's a good bit more than 1000calories a day. If you really want it, you'll do it. |
This was me. For the longest time, I thought I didn't have time to exercise. But when I hit fifty, I realized that I had to get with it, or I was going to be one of those old people who can barely get around. Now I go on to the gym the way to work twice a week, and meet a trainer two times a week after my child goes to bed, and go at least once on the weekend. I feel great and have so much more energy. Getting started was the hard part. |
