He is and I have left DC with him but because the shower is coed and for HIS friend, I would be the one to stay at home, which is fine with me. PP is right on. It's a total gift grab - over 50 people were invited and an address of where to send gifts was provided on the invite I've met the mom-to-be twice so don't feel that obligated to go.
