They are owned by ALDI, which is an Austrian owned conglomerate

The pumpkin cheesecake is sinful.

Damn don't tell me that about the pumpin cheesecake...I refuse to even buy it! But I know it would be good if I did
I'm sorry, I am a self appointed trader joes embassador
I love the place (happiness tip-I only go right when they open and I live very close)
I think I love almost every thing they sell there, they are nice to my kids (I don't let them hang on the cart) they are so much less expensive than whole foods, and the employees are so helpful

Anyone tried the chocolate peanut butter salted caramels? Amazingly delicious!

How about the chocolate ganache cake? I served it for Christmas and it was a major hit!

Okay, was shopping at TJ's last Saturday (I'm not addicted, just go once every month or two to pick up a few things that are harder to find elsewhere) and they had a sample of TJ's Guilt-Free Low-Fat Kale and Spinach dip. Pretty good and only 30 calories for 2 tablespoons. I bought a container and had several friends who stopped by sample it. They were planning on getting some soon. Good stuff.

OK, but where were the cookie cutters that usually come in the sugar cookie workshop? And, where were the giant gingerbread men this year? And I couldn't find ANY gingerbread house kits at all! WTF?

That dip is delicious! We've bought it a handful of times for parties and it's always the first thing to go.

Probably not at all authentic, but so delicious.

I have never really seen the great attraction people have to Trader Joes. It seems like a lot of frozen and highly processed food.

We don't eat a lot of processed food and get a lot from trader joes--organic apples, bananas, pears. Kiwi, pineapple, lemons. All kinds of fresh vegetables. Nuts. Seeds. Gluten free oats. Chia seeds. Organic eggs, organic chicken leg, frozen wild salmon, quinoa. frozen blueberries. They have a new chocolate peppermint patty thing that has 3 ingredients--honey, peppermint oil, chocolate.

Love TJ brand:
Turkey bolognese (healthy & delicious. I have 8 in my freezer.)
Graham crackers
Chocolate bars by the checkout
Omega 3 individual packets (pumpkin seeds/ nuts/ cranberries.)

Tried mini wontons (chicken & cilantro) last night. Pretty good.
