My kid will get out a lot later than 12:30. Yes they are cutting it too close and IDK why they don't do virtual. Prob people would yell and scream about that too.

The latest dismissals are out by 2, with busses done by 2:45. They’ll all be home before the front gets here.

Already a tornado watch now

I guess you should go get your kid early.

Thanks for your concern, yes I did do that because no thanks to APS, he would have been outside at 2:30-2:45 walking from bus stop and it's already bad out there.

Is it dangerous or is it raining?

New poster -what our kids were just sent out in was incredibly dangerous. Completely reckless to not hold the buses that dispatched from HB at 1:50.

Where I am had a brief downpour, no wind. Did you have wind?

A tree fell in our neighborhood.

Oh gee, sorry to hear that. This could have been avoided with a 3 hour early release instead of 2. Insane call to just do 2 hours and then release them right in the middle of the mess. I mean it works out if you go to a school that releases early but what about the later release schools?

What mess? We had a little rain, a few gusts of wind. But way more tame than a normal summer afternoon storm....

We had a lot more than that where I am. It's not the same everywhere you know. That's how weather works.

We had almost nothing, too, but given the experts' reading of the scenario, it was still prudent to do early releases.

There was one bad period - BEFORE the predicted window - then fine since.

We'll see if anything else develops.
