This just isn't true. UF grads have great employment options in NYC and other major job hub areas, on par with UNC and UT.

Some posters on this board post a lot of false statements about Florida because they hate DeSantis and hate that Florida went for Trump.

? TX and NC also went for Trump, and a lot of posters hate Abbott, too.

This board is particularly hostile towards Florida. I think it’s just a small number of very active posters, but it’s noticeable.

Perhaps there’s jealousy?

Yes, we are jealous of the diploma mill which educates a large chunk of its undergrads via online class. The joke is on the non Florida residents who actually pay tuition for that.

And your kid applied to Rutgers? You’d fit in well in NJ lol Jersey shore mom

Look, I found another UF alum and they are equally as stupid as Biondi.

I’m not a UF alum and I’m a liberal. I’d choose UF over Rutgers 10/10 times. Rutgers is a dump.

Nope if you are a liberal you would know UF is anti Science, Anti American, anti knowledge now.

Signed UF Alumni

The political winds will eventually blow in a different direction. Calm down, sweetie.

It may be a dump but it doesn’t rely on online classes.

Cite Rutgers doesn’t use any online classes?

That’s quite the claim that Florida and Arizona are the ONLY colleges to use online classes. Let’s see your cite.

Texas has about 600,000 alumni which pales in comparison to Indiana and Penn State.

Regardless of the school most of the flagships are stronger in their own geographic area.

UT Austin has about 600K alumni. IU and Penn State have higher numbers but are counting multiple campuses.

The vast majority graduate from UP the flagship, though. The smaller campuses graduate < 500 students per year.

https://alumni.psu.edu/2025/05/19/penn-state-reaches-800000-alumni-milestone/

In an historic achievement, Penn State has surpassed 800,000 alumni worldwide.

The Class of 2025 makes Penn State the only university with more than 800,000 alumni

Pennsylvania is losing population ever year. Florida and Texas are growing. Keep hating, haters!

According to your logic, UPenn must bad the bottom of the barrel since Trump is a Penn alum?

Penn State had a total of 72,456 undergraduates in fall 2025 with 42,822 at University Park. UT Austin had 43,165 in fall 2024. The difference is really due to counting multiple campuses vs. a single campus.

“UF degree is worthless now”?
Does it mean it’s worthy some time ago? When?? Anyone could tell you UF has become increasingly competitive over the past 5-10 years!

Congrats! You’re contributing to the ascent of UF. Indeed, what kind of serious college students would want to work for a firm led by snowflakes?!

What's up with all the UF maga nutjobs, is that reflective of the current UF experience?
