How much sex do you think you averaged per week in 2025

Spend anywhere from 45min to 4 hours per "session"

why nothing in first 6 months? are you birds that are migrating to a different location? lol

I guess this does require some context:
Well, when you have a dismissive avoidant spouse and they had an affair and refuse to work on their (and our) issues, you finally give up, let the process play out and move on.
The next 6 months would be far more than 2X/week, but for kids, work and life getting in the way.
So yes, migrating to a new location I guess!

3x per week, with 4 sloppy Blowjeezy’s added on.

Both 65.

Not really a choice. Health issues on both sides.

Sex doesn't last forever in many cases.

It’s perfectly fine as long as both spouses are okay. Problem comes when one spouse unilaterally declares the marriage sexless and expects the other spouse to be okay with it.

The reverse is more problematic.

This was a terrible year due to my health condition. None. Battling cancer.

do you think sometimes a dismissive avoidant also controls sex by saying other things such as medical issues, not feeling it, too tired, etc?

48 and 62: we have sex when I’m ovulating because that’s when I’m the most into it. So a bunch at one time of the month.

Why everything has to be a competition?

Average probably once a week (which is sad to type out) - but it looks more like nothing for a stretch when we're stressed/busy/tired(/not to mention postpartum, at the beginning of the year), and then 2-3x/week for a stretch. Maybe this should be my NY resolution - to be sure to initiate at least once a week to get our numbers up!

43/44

Gross.

Serious question …

Why is that gross?

Because they aren’t getting laid and are jealous.

Exactly!

Yes, 100% I believe they do.
However, that was not the case here (specifically for 2025) it had been much longer without it- The past affair and reluctance to engage in moving the couples counseling forward was the main issue. This was the last gasps of the relationship in the final 6 months at the start of 2025.
