As if working in "DC big law" is a desirable thing |
Is this a law school or undergrad discussion? I'm confused |
LOL. My DH is an attorney at DOJ. He went to SMU for his JD. He works with attorneys from LSU, Ga Tech, UMassAmherst, etc. Your JD's provenance doesnt mean sh*t IRL. |
DOJ different than biglaw |
| Some troll must have a google alert for any UR thread on DCUM because they always always always post the same insane stuff about this school. Same thing for UNC threads. It really ruins any chance of a normal discussions. |
Not to make it all about me but I did make the mistake of invoking UR as another example of a school that catches an unwarranted amount of hell in the Bucknell thread. Damned if the UR bashing in this post didn’t pick up shortly thereafter. Now the law school is garbage as well? |
So it’s YOUR fault! 😂 I have learned to tune out the hate from irrational bashers. DC loves U Richmond. It’s fine if other people don’t. They aren’t giving good-faith feedback based on actual experience or knowledge, and they aren’t worth interacting with. |
| Yo whatup |
Where you go to law school is extremely important. Especially for your first job. SMU is an okay school. You can get a good job out of SMU but you had better be at top of class and in law review and looking in Dallas or Texas. |
| LSU has a law school? Who knew. |
| Back to Richmond. It sucks. |
| Richmond obviously doesn’t have the reach on dcum like Fordham law. |
| Fordham? Richmond? SMU? WTF. Will someone place Google the US News Law School rankings. You people are funny. |
| Why all the Richmond bashing? Isn’t it more or less tied with Colgate and Haverford in the US News Rankings? |
It has and it will continue to. |
