What ignorance. Ever been on Richmond’s campus? The law school? Know anything about it? No, of course not. You’re as snobby and elitist and as ignorant as OP… and I have nothing to do with Richmond but at least have been there and know of its offering..

And if you really have worked in BigLaw, as I have, you would know that no one looks at undergrad when hiring lawyers … it’s all about the T14 and Law Review.

I've never met a Richmond Law grad in Biglaw.

UR is a decent school with large endowment. Comparable to in state sports rival Bill & Mary. Not far behind UVA.

No dog in this fight but this criticism is just dumb. I’m guessing that at the very least, if you look at some of the Richmond offices of big law firms, you’ll encounter some UR Law grads.

Yes probably in Richmond. If you want to stay in Richmond, it's probably a good choice. But if you want to work anywhere else, it's just not. There are many other better known and just better law schools in the region - UVA, W&M, Georgetown, GW....even W&L....

Richmond law is a joke. No one of substance goes there. The undergrad isn’t much better. Very mid tier.

I visited in sept. Didn’t like it. No kitchens in dorms and all the parties are off campus. Campus was dead. My tour guide said it was because all the junior were abroad. Still felt weird. Twilight zone.

The ur administration is a sh@tshow.

What in the world is up with this thread? Is there a troll just posting over and over again? It seems over the top.

The few Richmond grads I’ve met in New England were all short and cute women.

Lot of wifey material at Richmond it seems.

Wouldn’t send my son to Richmond but I’d approve of him dating a Richmond girl

Does anyone pay full price at this school? Not worth it.

This has to be a troll because most UR students live on campus all four years and the school has various upperclassmen apartments, including the townhouse village. Most parties, if not ALL parties are ON campus. You are totally lying.

Honestly, I've never heard of University of Richmond until this past year, and it was from DCUM.

Nothing is “up” with it. We have one or two teenagers here with an axe to grind.
