Have any marriages ever gone from dead bedroom to active again?

No oral, no caressing, no kissing. He is having sex with me not because he is horny, but because he feels he has to. I am 51 and he is 56.

Seems dehumanizing?

After childbirth isn't dead bedroom!! That's recovery!!

Did her mouth also give birth and need to recover? No. It's a dead bedroom.

You deserve no sex from anyone ever. FFS.

I know we have the super sexual couples on this forum having sex every day or every other day late into their 60s. The truth is they are in the minority. Men don't take care of themselves. They don't eat well. They don't sleep well. They don't manage stress . This neglect has a big impact on sex drive. Once a week becomes once a month, once a month becomes once every other month, then once a year, and then dead bedroom. It does not happen overnight.

Ha, keep telling yourself that. American women are now more obese than men.

There’s like a 1% difference in obesity rates between the sexes but nice try. Men just think women don’t care about weight but actually you’re gross.

Do you discuss how you feel with your husband? If he having an affair?.. This seems so unemotional and transactional..

Was she talking about her fantasies or kinks with you before you got married? What used to get her going while you were dating?

Just like women are criticized for marrying someone and expecting them to change, if you married a woman who wasn’t kinky, why would you expect her to suddenly become a new kinky person in middle age? I love sex but my husband says I’ve been a horny weirdo since we first met. If you wanted a horny weirdo you should have married one. And if she used to enthusiastically have sex with you, you need to figure out why and recreate those circumstances for her.

Recovery is more than physical. Douchebag.
