I wonder what these ICE agents tell their kids they do for a living. Sheesh.

ICE does not have the legal authority to arrest AMERICAN CITIZENS. Period.

WRONG. God, you are so stupid.

“I will let go when I see the judicial warrant”

He went hands on with a federal agent during an arrest. This is what happens. BTW, I saw men wearing items of clothing that identified them as law enforcement.

At this point I think we can all agree that these democratic lawmakers are making a scene in order to get arrested. Probably to raise their profiles. We see how that worked out for Ras Baraka.

That video shows the story. The politician was forcing his way into the immigration arrest.

You saw what you wanted to see, not the truth.

He wasn't pushing. They were pulling him. The guy with his face 100% masked to the side of him clearly has his arms around him, pulling him forward.

The ICE agent said let go.

Mr. Lander said he would let go when he was shown a warrant.

The officers gave him time to comply and he did not.

Putting your hands on an ICE agent to interfere with an arrest is a crime.

There is a screen grab of their arms wrapped around him, pulling him. GTFO. Look at how his jacket is bunched up in the back from the black hat & mask guy pushing him and the police vest guy on the side is pulling him too.

And, here is a screen grab from Lander's own post.
The one where he said, “I will let go when you show me the judicial warrant.”
He locked arms with the man being arrested in an attempt to obstruct arrest. A crime.

“I will let go when you show me the judicial warrant.”
—NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, physically interfering with a federal ICE operation.

This is a screenshot from a video Lander himself posted on X. He’s not denying it—he’s advertising it.

That’s not protest. That’s obstruction of justice—and a campaign stunt in violation of federal law.

Locking arms with a person (not the ICE or LEO) may be civil disobedience, which sometimes involves charges and other consequences. But ICE is not the police so civil disobedience does not apply here.

ICE is acting unlawfully.

Yeah, they do. When they are obstructing......

If ICE agents feel obstructed, they can and will:

Arrest for obstruction of justice or interfering with federal officers (18 U.S.C. § 111).

Claim probable cause to justify the arrest — remember, that's a low bar.

DP. ICE has no jurisdiction over citizens. That means they cannot arrest them.

Correct.

And when you assault any federal law enforcement officer who has arrest powers, that officer has full authority to arrest you.

Hey, stupid: I don’t believe you understand the word jurisdiction.

There was no assault of a federal office by Lander. That is just a total fabrication. The video is right there to see.

It must be painful, going through life while being as stupid as you are, PP.

Why won't these guys ever show the warrants?

A lawyer I'm an acquaintance with on social media posted that if anyone is approached by a plainclothes, UC officer, they should dial 911, give their location, say there is someone here who says he's a federal officer but won't show any ID and I'm scared, and request police.

She said the federal officers must identify themselves with their credentials to local LEO.

Please do us all a huge favor and go test your theory: google an ICE location and just try blocking an officer; I’d prefer you be in prison rather than spreading your stupidity online.

Looks like a publicity stunt to me. He must be down in the polls.

Or, could it be, that he might interested in seeing the warrant? In seeing that the person is properly receiving due process?

Is due process a publicity stunt to you? Do you give away your rights?

there aren't warrants. They are trawling places where "illegals' are present and snatching them and sending them off to god knows where. There are green card holders, natural born Americans and people who have been going through the legal process who have been disappeared. It is horrifying.
