ICE Arrests NYC Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander

Anonymous
Why is the official DHS X account out here lying about this incident?

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested for assaulting law enforcement and impeding a federal officer. Our heroic ICE law enforcement officers face a 413% increase in assaults against them—it is wrong that politicians seeking higher office undermine law enforcement safety to get a viral moment. No one is above the law, and if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will face consequences.

There are 3 different video POVs of the incident and in none of them does he assault any LEO.

“I will let go when I see the judicial warrant”

He went hands on with a federal agent during an arrest. This is what happens. BTW, I saw men wearing items of clothing that identified them as law enforcement.

At this point I think we can all agree that these democratic lawmakers are making a scene in order to get arrested. Probably to raise their profiles. We see how that worked out for Ras Baraka.

That video shows the story. The politician was forcing his way into the immigration arrest.

You saw what you wanted to see, not the truth.

He wasn't pushing. They were pulling him. The guy with his face 100% masked to the side of him clearly has his arms around him, pulling him forward.

Is there a place where we can start listing DHS-ICE names? Let the OSINT warriors take it from there and put names to these masked cowards.

I'm connected to more than 3 dozen on LinkedIn.

The ICE agent said let go.

Mr. Lander said he would let go when he was shown a warrant.

The officers gave him time to comply and he did not.

Putting your hands on an ICE agent to interfere with an arrest is a crime.

There is a screen grab of their arms wrapped around him, pulling him. GTFO. Look at how his jacket is bunched up in the back from the black hat & mask guy pushing him and the police vest guy on the side is pulling him too.

Yep. Pretty clear that this is what Lander was going for. He’s down in the polls after all.

Why doesn't he have a right to see a warrant?

He is not the attorney of the person arrested.

Someone went to law school at Trump U I see

Mr. Lander admitted on video that he was holding onto an ICE agent and had no intention of letting go until the agent produced a warrant. Did you have the sound off? The suspect made a declarative statement affirming the crime he was intentionally committing.

They have badges.
They have IDs. And, they are not working alone.

Did they show those badges and IDs to anyone? ICE doesn’t usually do that anymore.

No one is above the law. Time to step up democrats? Where are you in the gym with the republicans?

Congress prosecutes people now? (wrong branch of government dum dum).

And, here is a screen grab from Lander's own post.
The one where he said, “I will let go when you show me the judicial warrant.”
He locked arms with the man being arrested in an attempt to obstruct arrest. A crime.

“I will let go when you show me the judicial warrant.”
—NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, physically interfering with a federal ICE operation.

This is a screenshot from a video Lander himself posted on X. He’s not denying it—he’s advertising it.

That’s not protest. That’s obstruction of justice—and a campaign stunt in violation of federal law.

Is that supposed to be an insult? You have no other witty retort?
Is he the man's attorney? No.
Do the ICE officials have to show him a warrant? No.
